Prestige Manhattan Twist Water Butt Planter

Made In The UK

The Manhattan Twist combines stylish planting space with practical water storage in one elegant unit. Its geometric design creates striking light and shadow effects across the surface, while the two-in-one structure lets you grow plants on top whilst collecting rainwater below. Excess water from the planter drains into the tank, so nothing goes to waste.

Crafted from durable, 100% recyclable MDPE plastic, it withstands frost and weather year-round. This modern water butt includes a high quality brass tap (3/4" BSP), allowing a watering can to be quickly filled. Also included is standard diverter kit, suitable for 65mm square and 68mm round downpipes.

The access cap arrives blank, so if drainage is required a few holes can easily be pierced or drilled into the access cap, allowing water to drain into the main tank. The planter bowl is versatile and can be filled and used as a water feature or placed directly below an outdoor tap, allowing potting and cleaning tasks to be completed in the bowl, thus reusing the wash water.

The planter incorporates an LED recess and cable channel in the base of the butt, allowing the water butt to be illuminated from below for a unique visual effect.

Available in two sizes and multiple colours to suit your garden.

The planting capacity varies by model: 15L in the 100L planter / 30L in the 250L planter

Frequently asked questions

Yes, you can link water butts together to maximise rain water harvesting from one downpipe. You must ensure that the water butts are level at the point where they connect. Choose from our range of water butt connectors.

These models are manufactured with a hexagonal black bung in the tap hole. This is to ensure that the threaded hole and tap fit perfectly, without leaking.

To remove, use a 50p coin or a large flat-ended screw driver to twist the bung anticlockwise until you can unscrew it with your hand. Alternatively, use a spanner to undo the bung.

Once the bung is removed, simply screw in the threaded tap provided (or any other 25mm fitting), ensuring there is a washer on the tap.
